French doors are the perfect option for smaller apertures as both doors can be opened, which allows the full use of the opening. Available in a chamfered or decorative profile, the double set of doors can open in or out and are internally glazed. We offer three threshold options, including a no threshold design for use between a house and a conservatory.

Frame Options

The uPVC French door is available in chamfered and decorative profile with three main threshold options. The standard uPVC threshold frame is 70mm high and a low uPVC threshold is 52mm in chamfered profile and 55mm in the decorative profile.

A low aluminum threshold can be used with both profiles, which has severe weather rating and being document M compliant means it is suitable for new build disabled access requirements. Both uPVC frames are 70mm deep.

The three midrail options include our standard large midrail at 110mm (suitable for a letter box), a medium midrail at 80mm and a small midrail at 70mm.

Offset French doors are also available.

Hardware Options

Our stylish lever/lever handles are available in white, gold, satin silver, chrome and black, with an option for the handles on both the master and slave doors. We also offer a black antique swan neck handle.

Flag hinges are fitted as standard, which is available in white, black, gold, brown, caramel, chrome, satin silver, and antique black.

The standard security lock we use has hooks, compression points and a centre latch and deadbolt with an option to add additional shoot bolts and hinge protectors.

The standard key cylinder can also be changed for a thumb turn cylinder, which is available in silver and brass.

Security

We offer a range of security specifications and options. Our uPVC chamfered and French doors have been fully tested and certified to PAS24, which is not only suitable for new build and new extension projects, these doors will bring peace of mind to the most security conscious.

Stylish Colourways

Choose from an extensive range of wood grain foils to enhance the look of any type of property. Our fast track colours include Rosewood, Golden Oak, Anthracite Grey, Black, Cream and many others. Alternatively, incorporate the woodgrain foils on the outside with the standard white on the inside.

The Heritage woodgrain range and special order colour options, give a multitude of choices to suit your customer’s taste.

We can also supply matching ancillaries and trims.

Energy Rating

Our fully glazed doors achieve a minimum of 1.8 ‘u’ value, with the option for upgrading its energy efficiency by adding Argon gas.

The four chambered profile and thermal composite insert offers superb insulation for year-round comfort.

Accessories

An extensive range of accessories is available to complete your door installation requirements. These include 95mm, 150mm and 180mm cills, 15mm, 25mm, 40mm, and 70mm frame extensions. With a 2mm joiner or 15mm steel reinforced joiner, along with a 90° corner post, 135° fixed bay pole and variable angle bay assembly, joining frames together couldn’t be easier.

Trickle vents can be fitted in either the frame or the sash and along with our standard colour options, colour matched trickle vents are also available.

Thermally Efficient

All of our uPVC French doors can achieve a high standard of thermal efficiency. This is made possible by a high performance, multi-chambered uPVC profile that helps to trap in pockets of warm air to help the home get warmer and stay warmer for a longer period of time.
