Frame Options

The UPVC Stable door is available in chamfered and decorative profile with four threshold options. The standard uPVC threshold frame is 70mm high and a low uPVC threshold is 52mm in chamfered profile and 55mm in the decorative profile. A low aluminum threshold can be used with both profiles, which has severe weather rating and being document M compliant means, it is suitable for new build disabled access requirements. Both uPVC frames are 70mm deep.

Traditionally both top and bottom sashes will be equal in size, but offset sizes can be requested to give either a larger or smaller top or bottom section of the door.

Hardware Options

Our stylish lever/lever handles are available in white, gold, satin silver, chrome and black, with a fixed/pad and movable pad handles available in the same colors. We also offer a black antique swan neck handle.

Flag hinges are fitted as standard which are available in white, black, gold, brown, caramel, chrome, satin silver and antique black.

The standard key cylinder can also be changed for a thumb turn cylinder, which are available in silver and brass.

Security

Our designated stable door lock allows the whole door to open as one or the top part to open independent of the bottom, thus allowing airflow while keeping small children or pets safe and secure. The top door is fitted with a lever/lever handled and the bottom door is fitted with a thumb turn cylinder, with both cylinders being paired alike.

Stylish Colorways

Choose from an extensive range of wood grain foils to enhance the look of any type of property. Our fast track colors include Rosewood, Golden Oak, Anthracite Grey, Black, Cream and many others. Alternatively incorporate the woodgrain foils on the outside with the standard white on the inside.

The Heritage woodgrain range and special-order color options give a multitude of choices to suite your customer’s taste.

We can also supply matching ancillaries and trims.

Energy Rating

Our fully glazed doors achieve a minimum of 1.8 ‘u’ value, with the option for upgrading its energy efficiency by adding Argon gas. Decorative door panels also improve the doors performance.

The four chambered profile and thermal composite insert offers superb insulation for year-round comfort.

Accessories

An extensive range of accessories are available to complete your door installation requirements. These include 95mm, 150mm, 180mm cills and 15mm, 25mm, 40mm, and 70mm frame extensions. With a 2mm joiner or 15mm steel reinforced joiner, along with a 90° corner post, 135° fixed bay pole and variable angle bay assembly, joining frames together could not be easier.

Trickle vents can be fitted in either the frame or the sash and along with our standard color options, color matched trickle vents are also available.
